The Colorado Chapter has many opportunities to volunteer for committees that need help during the year. One way of networking while helping the organization is through volunteering to help the following committees:We welcome all members to volunteer with our groups. Communications

Communications Director

Public Relations & Media
Ensure Communications Strategy is implemented with the media & general public.

Meetings are held as needed. More time is needed leading up to the ASID awards. Approximate time commitment 2-3 hours per month.

Website
Work with Communications Director, Chapter Administrator & Web Vendor to keep website content fresh and current. Interface with Board of Directors to ensure chapter communications strategy is implemented. Meetings are held as needed. Most work is done via e-mail or phone with an occasional meeting (4 per year). Approximate time commitment is 2 hours per week.
Colorado's Quarterly Magazine
Coordinate production of quarterly magazine with our publisher. Interface with layout artist, proofread articles and determine content. "4 Meetings Per Year. Approximately 2 weeks each quarter leading up to publication.
Annual Directory
Coordinate production of yearly member directory with our publisher. Interface with layout artist, proofread and determine content. 1 Meeting Per Year. Approximately 2 months prior to publication.

In the effort to advance our members from Allied to Professional levels and educate our members on the topic of Sustainable Design these groups work on very focused goals throughout the year.

Programs Committee
Plan and attend 6-8 programs per year, including: project tours, CEU's, and the Annual Meeting 1 Meeting Per Month. Typically 90 minutes long.
STEP
Plan 2 STEP (Self Testing Exercises for Pre-Professionals) workshops per year for those taking the NCIDQ. 5 hours per workshop.
